"Green as a Forest" is a print of an acrylic painting by me, Elizabeth"Etch" Mordensky," referencing a photo I took on the Pacific Crest Trail. On this 2600 mile trek we walked through a multitude of forest types. Among my favorites were the moss covered red fir tree forests of central and northern California.

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, though many of my friends know me as EtchASketch, a trail name I earned while hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2013. I have been hiking for about as long as I can remember, and creating art for even longer than that. Naturally these two loves overlap, and while my trail name was given to me for simple, fun sketches in trail journals along the 2100+ mile trek, at home I love bringing nature to life through any artistic means I can get my hands on. From paintings to paper-cuttings, I can't get enough of trying to capture mother nature's world through art of my own.
