"Lone Bison" is an original oil painting of a large bull bison I photographed in Yellowstone National Park. Bison are wonderful creatures with a great deal of personality and spunk, and I quite enjoyed capturing this one with a new (for me) loose style of finger painting.

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, though many of my friends know me as EtchASketch, a trail name I earned while hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2013. I have been hiking for about as long as I can remember, and creating art for even longer than that. Naturally these two loves overlap, and while my trail name was given to me for simple, fun sketches in trail journals along the 2100+ mile trek, at home I love bringing nature to life through any artistic means I can get my hands on.
