"Moving Windows" is a 14"x17"pencil drawing from Goat Rocks Wilderness along the Pacific Crest Trail. The reference photograph was taken on an epic day, where the clouds were constantly shifting, creating white-out conditions one minute and opening windows through to the mountain views the next.

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, though many of my friends know me as EtchASketch, a trail name I earned while hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2013. I have been hiking for about as long as I can remember, and creating art for even longer than that. Naturally these two loves overlap, and while my trail name was given to me for simple, fun sketches in trail journals along the 2100+ mile trek, at home I love bringing nature to life through any artistic means I can get my hands on.
