Artist's Description
"Run, Red Dog, Run" is piece fun piece for any bison lovers home. Bison calves are known as "red dogs" because of their red-ish orange coat that lasts the first few months of their lives. I chose to showcase that characteristic with a bi-chromatic painting as a new addition to my "blue bison series. The blue and orange pop off this white textured background in magnificent fashion.
About Elizabeth Mordensky
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, though many of my friends know me as EtchASketch, a trail name I earned while hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2013. I have been hiking for about as long as I can remember, and creating art for even longer than that. Naturally these two loves overlap, and while my trail name was given to me for simple, fun sketches in trail journals along the 2100+ mile trek, at home I love bringing nature to life through any artistic means I can get my hands on. From paintings to paper-cuttings, I can't get enough of trying to capture mother nature's world through art of my own.
