"Windmills in the Desert" is a painting of the Goliath sized structures that dominate the landscape along parts of the Pacific Crest Trail. These windmills are located in the Mojave Desert along the PCT, and were a common site for over 100 miles.
About Elizabeth Mordensky
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, though many of my friends know me as EtchASketch, a trail name I earned while hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2013. I have been hiking for about as long as I can remember, and creating art for even longer than that. Naturally these two loves overlap, and while my trail name was given to me for simple, fun sketches in trail journals along the 2100+ mile trek, at home I love bringing nature to life through any artistic means I can get my hands on.
