"On a Snowy Evening" is a portrait of a bison walking on a snowy evening. Bison are incredible tough animals, taking on the harsh winter elements head on. As I was painting this painting I kept being reminded of the Robert Frost poem "Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy Evening"
