"Prismatic Colors" is a Print of an original painting by me, Elizabeth "Etch" Mordensky. The image is one that I painted from a photograph I took of Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone National Park is a wonderful place to visit and live, with unique landscapes and animals that make wonderful art subjects. I have lived in and around Yellowstone off-and-on for over 10 years, and never tire of the park and the gifts this piece public land has to offer. (Image is printed without the watermark)
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, though many of my friends know me as EtchASketch, a trail name I earned while hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2013. I have been hiking for about as long as I can remember, and creating art for even longer than that. Naturally these two loves overlap, and while my trail name was given to me for simple, fun sketches in trail journals along the 2100+ mile trek, at home I love bringing nature to life through any artistic means I can get my hands on. From paintings to paper-cuttings, I can't get enough of trying to capture mother nature's world through art of my own.
